Afterthoughts from the winner of Metropolia Mosaic moments competition, Jungin Lee, in form of a few short questions.
Firstly, why did you feel interested to join Mosaic Finland?
-It is true that 150 euro gift card made me interested in this competition. But, because taking pictures of my friends and great landscape is one of my favorite hobbies, I would have joined mosaic Finland regardless of an award. I liked to show my pictures to more people and share my feeling and memories with them through my pictures.
And what do you think about Mosaic Finland, any thoughts?
-Photo can attract people’s interest easily, and it can be the easiest way to show what happened or what it looks like. Through Mosaic Finland, people uploaded their favorite pictures on the web and they share their good memories with many people. Some pictures showed great view of Helsinki, some other pictures had a unforgettable memory with friends.
What were you’re first impressions when you came to know that you are the winner?
-Since there were a lot of pictures that I liked on the web site, I didn’t think I could be the winner of this competition. I liked mine, but I didn’t think it could attract more attention compared to the other pictures. I really liked the picture of the white church on Vappu showing a nice view of a special day at the most popular place in Helsinki. When I heard that I was the winner of this competition and I thought it was just a joke. But actually I was, and I wanted to say thank you to Lapland which has the great white landscape, and Theodora who was in the picture.
Finally, what could be your contribution for Helsinki Metropolia Business School?
-I am just an exchange student who studied here only for a semester. It is like I didn’t give any contribution to the school. But I hope everyone liked this picture which will be on the web site or something. Then it could be the best thing that I can do for Metropolia.
Thank you Jungin and thank you to all who participated and contributed to the mosaic moments competition! Have fun and enjoy the summer 🙂
