Jani Levanen, EM-98, is alumni of Metropolia Business School and graduated in 2002. He works as a Manager, Sales Operations, EMEA&APAC at Getty Images. After Jani gave a presentation about Getty Images at Metropolia Business School we wanted to know more about his career:
1. What was the influence to involve with Getty?
Jani: I have always been interested in media and advertising world, and as my other major was marketing, I was looking for companies operating in advertising industry with global reach.

3. What do you think you have or can achieve from working at Getty Images?
Jani: Getty Images has given me a possibility to work in multicultural environment in exciting and fast moving industry. The company allows me to constantly grow as professional and support my personal development.
4. What is the future aspect of your career at Getty Images?
Jani: I am hoping to stay with the company for years to come, this is a great company to work for!
5. Any recommendation concerning career for upcoming graduates of Metropolia Business School?
Jani: Do research! If there is a particular ‘thing’ that you really like, why not make it living and make life fun! For example if you love films or music, look for positions in those industries. In creative industries you still need people with finance, marketing, management etc knowledge!
