It does and the team need our help.
About the Team
Metropolia formula team design and fabricate a Formula-type race car and compete in the international Formula SAE/Student racing class. The team consists of second, third and fourth year engineering students and currently there are 15 members working on the project. Season 2011 comprises competitions in England, Germany, Hungary and Sweden from July to August.
Before Christmas I met with team captain Jenni Kurki-Suonio to discuss various ways Metropolia Business school could help the team. A business school team has been formed in my Digital Marketing Course and the plan is to have them assisting the formula team in organising presentations in the various Metropolia Schools and other locations. The team also have the task of developing an integrated marketing campaign to increase awareness of the team and encourage more fans in their Facebook page (Click on the Facebook Icon). 
We are also in discussions with the team about organising a fun event for Metropolia students where we could have a fun activity and send the team off to Europe in style.
Presentation/Presenters needed
The team would like to get assistance with developing a high end presentation with high definition graphics and pictures. Ideally a media student would be able to assist in helping develop the presentation but if others students have the know how then they could take the task. An idea is to use Prezi as the presentation tool so again the team is looking for people with good experience of using Prezi.
The team would like to have strong presenters who would present about their plan here in Finland so that they can release members to concentrate on developing the car. The team are in discussions with various students but need help in different areas.
