We have written previously about StartUP Challenge a year long course for entrepreneurial students. Using feedback from last years StartUP Challenge students the course has changed to focus more on idea generation and other early stage entrepreneurial areas.  This year StartUP Challenge will work with Business Model Competition Finland.

Business Model Competition (BMC)
The competition is an international one with colleges such as Harvard and Stanford University taking part. Over 1,000 teams and 100 universities in 10 countries competed in the 2013 International Business Model Competition.  The Finnish competition winners will compete in the international competition finals in Brigham Young University USA in May 2014.

The course will continue to work with JAYE (Junior Achievers Young Entrepreneurs) and their competition will take place in May with the opportunity to compete for the Hyundai Brilliant Young Entrepreneur award €15,000

StartUP Challenge & BMC Info Session

An information session will take place on Wednesday 11th of September at 16:45 in A111a Metropolia Business School. Ola Sundell of Hub Helsinki and organiser of Business Model Competition will come to tell more about the plans for the competition.

You cannot sign up to StartUP Challenge in Winha you need to apply via their referral page www.startupchallenge.fi and refer another person to receive an application form.

StartUP Challenge will begin in Week 38. It will run generally on Wednesdays at 16:45 in A111a Metropolia Business School but will be often at different location due to attendance at startup events.
