Who are you? What did you start to study at Metropolia Business School and what do you study?
Hello! My name is Kristiin and I’m studying in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Myyrmäki campus. I started in 2018 on the international side (International Business and Logistics), because I was more than 100% sure Logistics is my calling. That being said, currently on my last semester of 3,5 year study program and my major will be marketing.

Where you are now ? What is your internship about? How is the overall internship experience?
My internship period will be completed in a company called Supermetrics. As I decided to divide my internship into two parts, the second half will be completed beginning of the next year, in the same company.

The internship period involved working with all departments when needed, but mostly supporting outbound sales team. What I like the most about the company is that the work ethic is competitive, international and supportive, which has helped me on my career journey by stepping out of the comfort zone.

Do you have any tips and tricks for students who are looking for an internship?
For my fellow students looking for an internship – put yourself out there and don’t be afraid to apply for different positions. LinkedIn is the place to be, especially now that we all are working remotely. Remember: “If you don’t ask then the answer is always no”.
